Oh no, one of my absolute favourites. Every bout was a bust-up.
What a shame that we have had no contact with him or news about him these last twenty years on line.
I do have one very minor but personal memory of him. He's the only wrestler who ever apologised to me when signing his autograph. He signed "Jack Martin" but apologised because he had forgotten he was being billed as Al "Buster" Martin.
He had quite an intense year on Dale Martin bills, must have been 1972, wrestled at The Royal Albert Hall.
We have often mentioned how wrestling posters expanded our geographical knowledge from Georgetown to Auchterarder, but Buster Martin for me remains the only person I have ever met from Denbighshire. It sounded so exotic at the time.
R.I.P. (.....though I never saw you in a peaceful bout, thankfully.)
