What became of Rocky Moran (Dave Finlay's tag partner ) and where and against whom did Haystacks make his wrestling debut ?
David Mantell
Stax tagged with Big Daddy to lose by DQ to the Saints in July '75.
Rocky went to Brian Dixon, grew a mullet and jobbed to Fuji Yamada in FY's second ITV appearance. He had a brief stint as British Heavy Middleweght champ in '86, winning from Chic Cullen and losing to Eddie Hammill.
Sadly he passed away in 2005 - here his his obit thread from the old 1stop forum:

History had Haystacks debuting in 1967 on the Indy Circuit as Luke Mcmasters.
I have no idea where or who he fought and thus far never found a wrestling bill with him on under this guise.

I saw Haystacks around 1973 working for Bobby Barron on the Central Pier, Blackpool. I think he was called Giant Haystacks then.

Rocky Moran also tagged with Fit Finlay on a couple of occasions. It was sad to hear of his passing, way too young. He had some excellent clashes with Chic Cullen over the years, that made fine viewing for the grapple fans.

This is only from memory now but I think Rocky Moran (Dennis Macmillan) died of cirrhosis of the liver very sadly, an under rated wrestler for sure

Rocky Moran's Heavy Middleweight Title 1986...would highly appreciate any memories of that very short championship reign. Thanks, R
Looks like he did win the KO Tourney, in Sept 1983 at Bridlington (East Riding of Yorkshire).
It could have been whatever belt was available for the photo !
Did Rocky Moran win any KO Tourney?
Not sure, belt looks British to me.
I am asking because the belt on the photo is NOT British heavy middleweight championship. So I am assuming Moran held some another title as well.
There was an American wrestler called Haystacks Calhoun. When i first saw Haystacks he was working as Haystacks Galhoan which I assume to be a copy of the American name. I first saw him in the early seventies and early matches I recall were against Orig Williams at Rhyl Town Hall (Orig's own show) and on a Brian Dixon show at The Granby Halls, Leicester (topped by Nagasaki versus Starr) where he faced Bobby Barron.
I was at the TV recording from Southport mentioned by Mr.Mantell where he and Daddy faced The Saints and, a few months later, was his second at another TV recording in Wythenshawe when he and Daddy faced Kendo Nagasaki and Rex Strong (Mc.Manus versus Faulkner was top of the bill).
Didn't Haystacks wrestle under the name Haystack Calhoun ?
David Mantell, need your help.
Here's Rocky Moran with the belt, not sure which title it was. Anyone can help?
