Most Competitive Sports throw up 'Rivalries'-Many Times there is little to Separate the 2
Combatants often when Both are on Top of Their Game!-LEONARD-HEARNS in Boxing
for Example!-But it was always Exciting to see a 'Fierce' Rivalry between 2 Protagonists
of Different STYLES and SKILLS! Now THAT made for Some Explosive Encounters!

I remember they were building to a big Rocco vs. Kung Fu showdown at the Royal Albert Hall in 1982, but Kung Fu jumped to Stampede. Rocco ended up facing Steve McHoy at the RAH, which was a strange replacement for Kung Fu, but Rocco made the most of it.
How do you rustle 'em up so quick, Main mask!
Fascinating bill but another example of silly Morrell excessiveness: two great tag matches - but each detracting from the other. No need at all. (Hi Bernard ☺)
There was a very good bout between Rocco and Kung Fu on Reslo, it's a while since I watched it it is or was on YouTube
I do remember that Kung Fu masked was a really big deal with totally unseen manoeuvres. The only one to match Jon Guil Don. I wonder if they ever fought or had any connection? Isn't that my own Croydon poster?
Why did NO TIME LIMIT bouts seem so exciting when most bouts never got near filling their allotted time? I bet they did 25 minutes!
McManus did slip down the bill - once he had given up the pen to Mike Marino. I reckon his King Ben bout was from that time.
That must be the bout Paul mentioned a couple of months ago where he wrestled "Puffing Billy." I'd love to have seen it.
Got to love Woodhouse's artistry with the wrestler descriptions. But you've got to wonder who goes on first on that bill; Torontos NEVER opened proceedings in my experience, in fact he watched most of the other bouts.
I thought you might have covered up the name of the hall in Bristol with your hand there .........
Rocco and Kung Fu was a great match up. And a Bobby Barnes bout too. Now you’re talking. Those were the days when I could walk into a room and actually remember what it was I went in there for, back then I could also get up out of a low chair without making 100 different noises. Cheers Adrian, hope all is good with you.
Here I'm Holding My COLSTON HALL Poster for The MASKED KUNG FU
versus -the not yet ROLLERBALL-MARK ROCCO!
I have this Bout in My ROCCO DVD Collection!
