Looking at the Talking Pictures schedule for this week, I see that 'Runaround', to be shown on Saturday 2nd January at 0900, features a heavyweight wrestling demonstration. I remember this from when it was originally broadcast and the exhibition bout is between Giant Haystacks and Tarzan Johnny Wilson. This will be rare footage indeed.

I believe that Father Christmas and Mother Christmas recently appeared in the divorce courts. Mother Christmas complained that her husband only comes once a year. When the judge asked Father Christmas if this was true, he had to admit it, then added, "But at least I fill her stockings."
Father Christmas? Does anyone else find the concept of an old man climbing down your chimney and emptying his sack all over your frontroom a bit creepy?
