Many Wrestlers had preferred or 'Favourite' Moves-but more often than not lots of other
Wrestlers used and could execute these same Moves!!
Much harder to Witness was a SPECTACULAR ATTACK used by very few Wrestlers
indeed!! One such was the FLYING HEAD BUTT! This involved great Skill and also
Judgement as it had to be a well-timed AERIAL Manoeuvre usually 'launched' from
some distance!
Often used as a 'Finisher' by the Great Heavyweight ROCKY WALL it was pretty lethal
for the Opponent!! In the '60's jumping off Posts and ropes was deemed 'Unsafe' until
Mat Maestros like ROCCO came along!
A later frequent Exponent of the FLYING HEAD BUTT was WAYNE BRIDGES!
Photo to follow!
Who saw this Spectacular Aerial Move Live?

I saw Albert "Rocky" Wall's flying headbutt on many occasions. When both he and Nagasaki went over to work for Brian Dixon it was used several times as a variant with Wall mounting the top turnbuckle but, as he flew through the air, Nagasaki would pick up the hapless referee and use him as a shield with Wall inadvertently knocking the official unconscious. It cleverly avoided a decision between the two and made a change from the usual double disqualification fighting outside the ring or double knockout.
