Through the 1950's wrestling was at the Public Baths.
It was Joint Promotions stuff and later shows reveal that it was run on their behalf by Billy Shinfield.
Shinfield was a 1930's boxer who opened a boxing club in the Three Horse Shoes Hotel in Ripley.
Along with Morrell and Beresford, Shinfield was sued by Masambula as it was he who erected the ring at Preston Guildhall in 1981, where Masambula got badly injured.
It seems that after boxing Shinfield's business was as a Ring Erector.
