Here's another article this time from June 1969 edition of "The Wrestler" about Max Crabtree's attempts to introduce team wrestling at venues. His vision of team wrestling would return in the late 1970s with the likes of Big Daddy's All Stars/TV Stars etc. There was even a non-televised team Big D v team John Quinn 79/80 at Wembley. Later there would be the Jets v Sharks teams, all run on the same formula, several solo contests culminating in a normal or 6-man tag match.
Interestingly the above article states that Max was promoting in Scotland around the 1969 period, i would hazard a guess that he was possibly promoting in the far North of England also.
