Manchester never liked to be outdone by London in anything we even had alledgley a version of the Kray gang up here.Always shrouded in mystery it was somewhat difficult to know who was actually in the gang.Im sure Ernie Derbyshire had a fair idea with his clubland connections Ernie lived the wrestling and even attempted to referee matches in his clubs, which Wryton used as run out venues although these weren't small capacity crowds.I now learn that Jimmy the Weed has written a book about the gang of which he was a member,I haven't read it yet but I'm sure it'll include Two Rivers abandoning the chop for a brown ale bottle. I'll update all when IV read it but expect plenty of wrestling content.
