Further on from the thread about non wrestling, and my song I posted. I've written this tonight I hope you enjoy this little poem about The Wrestling Game.
Wrestling is a mans game
no matter what you think.
It's not about fake, fixed
or they never get hurt.
Tell that to a wrestler
and find out if it hurts.
This body of men that enter the ring
to give you tons of pleasure.
Don't deserve the rigmarole
that gets thrown at them.
The training that they go through
would put other sportsmen
to shame.
Even during training
injuries they sustain.
So when you next watch a wrestler
show him some respect.
He's there for your entertainment,
never forget that, and never offer
to take him on, it's something
you could regret.
Here's to all those men who
ever entered the ring.
A thank you from an old fan
that's probably dyed in the wool.
Thank you for that Riot Squad. I'll email it across
Email it to us if you like and we will add it to the Songbook and next week's newsletter. If you would like it on the forum too, and are still having problems just tell us. Usual theriotsquad email adrress at hotmail.com
Thank you Riot Squad. I'm having a problem posting a Christmas song on the page. It must be a senior momemt I'm having.😄
Certainly not Yorkie. On Facebook it would be transient and disappear within hours or days. Your work will be treasured here.
Thank you very much Riot Squad for your comments. I thought that there are people who still ask those questions. It probably should have been put on a wrestling group on Facebook.
You wrote that in the short time since we asked.
We are impressed. Thanks Yorkie.
We will add it to the Poets In The Corner section, found in Memories.
