Sam Hurst, nicknamed STALYBRIDGE INFANT, the champion prize fighter of England once was a LANCASHIRE WRESTLER. And he also was a big fan and practitioner of the "double ear-lock" the deadliest and most vicious submission hold of them all!!!
a complete total "pro wrestling" trick, head to toe. obviously NO way on Earth. but who cared? people went there watched the show and forgot about it. show was somewhat fun to watch I can tell...again someone's ears were elongated. though some people who read that kind of ads in papers sincerely believed it and were betting on it. they were FOOLED by the organizers. typical very typical pro wrestling. and we are talking 1858, not 1958, LOL!!!
exactly. that's why it appeared in a newspaper - to attract even more people. pro wrestling when it comes to the owd lankishir fashion was always the same, not too much different from what it still is. some extra elongated ears are still drawing crowds.
I don't mind that. I do watch WWE and I never know who is going to win and how...so yeah betting is fin. Most importantly is that "players" should not be allowed to bet, because they know their routine. Otherwise its no longer pro wrestling but rather soccer, I mean English football, the FA football.

now this is really old stuff. maybe some will enjoy it though.
As per the other thread betting on Professional Wrestling seems to be making a comeback
Surprised anyone would bet on this if the result was known to be predetermined
