I know of two bouts that Tony Walsh won on TV, on February 9th 1980 he beat Jeff Kaye by knock-out (with a Kendo Nagasaki kamikaze crash!) and on January 21st 1984 he beat Steve Kelly 1-0 (with a slam and pinfall).
When he was away from the Big Daddy 'circus', Tony Walsh seemed to like to wrestle hard and sometimes clean bouts and was quite an impressive wrestler. However, he proved to be a good opponent for Big Daddy and so was often matched against him, where he could not really show many of his skills.
Most wrestlers would have beaten Crabtree in a real fight
Yep I would have had my tenner on as well leonard.
I wonder what would have been the outcome if they had the real fight that Tony wanted? I would have had a tenner on Banger for sure!
Tony has his own You Tube channel with several of his impressive singles matches
