Good morning Talk Wrestling,
I have recently discovered that TONY KOLOKOTRONIS (ELLIS) is my biological father.
As he passed away in 1994, I have/ know nothing about his wrestling career.
I would be so grateful if the members would be interested in helping me with any information, photos or programs.
I would love to share anything with my children and grandchildren.
I would be eternally grateful.
Thanking you ALL in advance.
🙏GOD BLESS🙏

Yours is a wonderful story, Adriana, that you found your long lost family after all those years. That must have been quite something. I'm sure I'm not the only one to be so pleased you've found us in a tiny part of your journey.
Back to the wrestling. There's a hard reality, but never give up, it's surprising what turns up on the web. It's unlikely you'll find your dad on the many You Tube wrestling matches.
That's nothing to do with your dad, but the politics of wrestling. Televised wrestling was exclusively run by a group called Joint Promotions. If you didn't work for Joint Promotions you didn't get on tv. Everyone else was called independents or opposition. There were more independent wrestlers and more independent shows, but they weren't as well known because they didn't have the tv exposure. That doesn't mean they weren't as good as the tv wrestlers, many were as good as better. As far as I know your dad only worked for the independents, and Ellis Promotions were definitely independents. Occasionally You Tube videos of independent shows crop up, but don't hold your breath.
There is a small write up on the wrestlers A-Z which I can't transfer at the moment.
Perhaps one of the controllers will help.
I have found a record of one of Tony Ellis Promotions events.
5th of December, 1974, Seymour Hall, London.
Tag Team Match: Roger Wells and Butch Mason vs Tony Kolokotroni and Tommy Milo
Gregorius vs Johnny Wilson
Bob Taylor vs The Wild Man of Borneo
Dr. Death vs Joe Cornelius
That is all I can find, so far.
