Hi, does anyone know anything about an old wrestler from the 60's I think. Called Cahn or chang the Mongolian Terror? He's my friends dad and I trying to find some old photo's of him wrestling. He said there was a write up in the Torquay times but he's getting old and his memory isn't always spot on. any old stories info, pictures would be fantastic. TIA

Thank you for your reply, he's not mentioned trying fishing but I'll ask him next time I see him 👍
There was an Iska Khan from Blackpool ('70s) who was accompanied into the ring by two Chinese girls he " borrowed" from his local chippy. Prior to wrestling he had tried life as a trawlerman from Fleetwood but cried off after one trip to Arctic waters and tried wrestling which, he said, was not as harrowing as fishing.
Is your friend's dad called Milton Reid?
Hi. No that's not him, my friends dad is White/English
Come to think of it, you perhaps mean Iska Khan who was billed from Mongolia and active in UK during 1961 and 1962:
and blew out a bit:
Tania, we might be able to post more but best for now will be for you to research that article in the Torquay library and post if for all to enjoy here.
Thank you.
Thank you Riot Squad 👍
Hello Tania. Thanks for posting. There was a famous Mighty Chang in the 1960s, but he is no longer with us and obviously not your friend. Smaller promoters often copied the names of more famous wrestlers and used them in local halls. This could well be the case with your friend. Similarly, a name like Mongolian Terror could have been used by a number of different people in different halls. We would probably need to have someone in the Torquay area who saw your friend to give us a helping hand with this one.
