Haha, the funny thing is on that bill he wasn't billed from anywhere, though his opponent was.
I recall the TV bout between Bartelli and Logan and, if I recall correctly, both men were disqualified. At this time in the early seventies Roger Green was often billed as being from Wolverhampton.
That last one is very odd: a TV bill with only four bouts. How often did that happen?
Where on earth did Roger Green pop up from at that time?
No question these were big names but the presentation at all levels remains amongst the weakest in the country. Just telling us that bouts were SUPER or SENSATIONAL treally doesn't do it for me with the absence of any justification.
On a positive note, that's the first time I've seen Kellett v Cooper and it seems absolutely ideal on paper.
