Following on from the previous post I have read various articles about Dave Smith Larsen and his career post Professional Wrestling. Possibly the wealthiest wrestler of the Golden Era?

who of the British pro wrestlers had their own pro wrestling company which was dominating a certain territory? I mean "indys" outside JP and DM.
An article in the New York Times mentions Larsen and his wife renting property on the Upper East side when she was performing in New York. Doubt Haystacks could have ever afforded to do that
I would think Nagasaki would be up there, possibly Haystacks (in terms of money earned from wrestling, at least, with him being a headline act in most countries he visited). Davey Boy Smith, Dynamite Kid and Steve (William) Regal, all earned decent money in the USA. DBS and DK (as mentioned in DK's book, Pure Dynamite), were getting $10,000 each, for a few minutes work, advertising kids sweets, or something like that, and they were paid thousands, in cash, for each Japanese tour.
I think McManus did ok, over here.
Not sure artists become all that wealthy unless very well known
What about one of the wrestlers who were well known artists ?
Gordienko?
Naggers must be up there
Taking into account his joint wealth with his wife and income from his French films
I'm not sure a non singing part in opera would produce riches.
