I have a photocopy of the wrestling programme which mentions the elimination series for the international "world welterweight" title (that's how it was billed). I am attaching it here. Please help me to figure out when it actually happened, I would appreciate that a lot.
I found a 1946 article which speaks of the similar event but I am not convinced that it was the same one. Thanks in advance for the feedbacks.

The promoter seems to have gone over the top with the titles.

I'm looking at the footnotes under the eliminating bouts in Europe USA etc, I didn't think Welterweight bouts were commonplace in the states. I think it's a bit of imaginative billing from the promoter, also no idea how long tournament will be, finals etc. I wonder if it continued or fizzled out
