Alan Wood when he "morphed" into Tiger... He was always grim of face when he was a Blue Eye. His unsmiling, uncompromising style was made for villainy!
Wayne Bridges for me too. I loved that tv exchange when he fed Pete Roberts the line:
- "Who have you ever beaten, Roberts?"
- "I've just beaten you."
Doesn't read well now, but was brilliant in the heat of the moment.
Johnny War Eagle. I didn't see him often enough to know whether his evil against Steve Viedor was regular behaviour or not. Absolute monster heel, one of the best I ever saw. He was clean against Czeslaw on tv, but pretty grim.
Did not Keith Hayward have a brief heel span? Always brilliant anyway
Marty Jones worked between the two styles with ease..... Consumate pro.

Agree re Wayne Bridges although I have to say he was great either way. Mal Saunders was much better as a heel as was Pat Roach.
