I particulary enjoyed Crusher Mason/Mighty Chang's look. As soon as he appeared in the hall you knew what you were getting. For me,a fantastic heel and a great worker in the ring.Your choices please.
My favourite(s) would be Dominic Pye, who even frightened me in the dressing room until you realised that he was a really nice guy. My other favourite would be his Father Jack Pye, who needs no further comments.
Wild Angus was scary when you were a kid.
Gwyn Davies. He always looked as though he had to maim someone to feel like he'd put in a shift. Also an honourable mention to Skull.
Mal Kirk, he never looked exactly fan friendly
Haystacks. very intimidating look but a really nice guy.
i always felt kent walton looked like a villain, very shifty eyes
Sid Cooper, Mick McManus, Steve Logan, Mal Kirk
Bruiser Muir looked the part.
Ivan Penzecoff, but he went all goody-goody in the seventies.
Big Bruno Elrington getting agitated, slowly, gradually: great theatre.
Joe Murphy gave no inkling it was a show. Just looked like a thug.
Magnificent Maurice: albeit rehashing several previous routines, he managed to add his own style.
Jon Cortez and Rocky Wall: 'cause they were often clean but equally often turned nasty and it was therefore very believable.
Lots more, too.
Steve Logan (Mk 1) you only had to look at Steve to know "here was a wrong un!" And Bill Howes, mad of eye deadly of intent. .
My favourite(s) would be Dominic Pye, who even frightened me in the dressing room until you realised that he was a really nice guy. My other favourite would be his Father Jack Pye, who needs no further comments.
