Would loved to have met Bobby' the brain' Heenan. The guy was so multi-talented with razor sharp wit.He originally got into the business by helping wresters into the arena with their bags I read some time ago. When he was trained as a wrestler he was billed as Bobby 'pretty boy' Heenan. Later became a 'heel' manager.Eventually progressing to commentating alongside Gorilla Monsoon and others. Then he and Gorilla Monsoon would present WWF shows.Bobby failing to see any skullduggery and Gorilla seemingly disgusted by the foul moves. I can further remember him presenting a wrestling show alone with a comical twist to it.I can then remember him moving over to WCW as show presenter.A very versatile man.

I also did "meet" Ricki Starr a few times, getting autographs. He was unforthcoming.
It would have had to be the Brain for me too, the man's mind was so quick and he did some ridiculous things to get his wrestler over.
As for a wrestler who I would have like to see wrestling a tour for a UK promotion it would have had to be Bam Bam Bigelow the best big man I saw in a ring . He could wrestle, brawl, he was fast, agile and had charisma, I could see him wrestling Marty Jones, John Quinn, Rocco and Wayne Bridges and tearing the house down.
very easy. Fred Blassie.
Although I have boasted about this previously, Romeo's post allows me to reboast that in 1971 I attended an AWA show at Milwaukee Auditorium where, in the second bout on the bill, Heenan wrestled "Sailor" Art Thomas. He returned at the top of the card as manager of "Black" Jack Lanza who faced Billy Robinson. Others on the card included Paul and Maurice Vachon, "Texan" Jack Bence and Edouardo Carpentier.
Totally agree with you Romeo."The Brain" was class
