Another variation appeared in an AEW broadcast in a match with Bryan Danielson versus Sammy Guevera. In a two out of three falls match Guevara was disqualified at the first fall but the match continued!
I would think that the answer is that no other country adopted the FULL Mount-Evans rules in their original state, but some countries adopted part of the changes.
Thanks Bernard, yeah, no one fully copied them. But to me it is minor. All pro wrestling styles in the world regardless what they called them shared (and still do share) basic all-in wrestling rules, which are 2 count of 3 pins, 2 submissions or a knock-out. Yes, some matches were set in rounds, some had time limits, some were one fall events, so to say there were plenty of variations.
CWA did have rounds but many of their matches were far more American influenced with for example wrestlers outside the ring and choking each other with the gong. For many years a gong was used rather than a bell

Did the UK in fact copy rules from other countries as a basis for Mountevans?
