A lot of the guys were renamed in Stampede. Rocky Moran was Chic Scott. Ivan Penzekoff was Cedric Hathaway. Drew McDonald was ....erm, Ben Doon McDonald. In New Zealand, Giant Haystacks was billed under the name Mighty Goliath.
Dennis Mitchell -O.K. 1,Geoff Poertz-O.K.2 Ray Hunter O.K. Chef and Charly Nuttal- O.K. Top in Austria 53-57. I dont know if the ever used the "O.K." Gimmick in the U.K:
Steve Regal wrestled in france with a mask as "Hellraizer"
In 88 there was a guy in vienna wrestled as Bearcat Brody. I think in UK he named himself Bull Pratt.
John Hindley (John Savage) was in vienna 1991 as Dynamite Smith.
Alf Cadmen wrestled as Killer Cademan and in 72 there was a John Crabtree. You know who this was.
Good point re Loch Ness, but I interpreted the question as “Wrestlers who used a different name abroad and reverted to their ‘regular’ one at home”. Sadly, I don’t think Haystacks wrestled after coming home?
Robbie Stewart was one that hadn’t occurred to me, but notwithstanding Mark Rocco being Black Tiger in Japan, there was a handbill from Japan on here a while back where Barry Douglas had become John Londous for the purposes of the tour. Cant think of any others offhand.
Tyrone went back to Japan in the mid-'90s and this time wrestled under the name Nigel Towers for reasons unexplained.
While not exactly "abroad", Bert Assirati wrestled as "John Swan" in Scotland.
In 1988, Tom Tyrone did a 24 date tour of Japan, under the name Paul Harris, was that his real name I wonder?

Gwyn Davies was the Scotsman McTiffin in France
I think Dave Larsen was Batman in France and possibly a Greek as well.
JJ Pallo wrestled as Solitaire in the USA.

Wasn't Haystacks billed as Loch Ness?
There must be many more.

One that springs to mind is Frank Cullen who,I think, was billed as Robbie Stewart when wrestling in Canada.
