I dined back in 1984 with several professional wrestlers at an after function put on by New Zealand Wrestler Promoter Steve Rickard. The wrestlers all had very good appetites. Any stories of colossal appetites fans remember of their favourite wrestlers Dining out?

Yes i forgot to mention two other wrestlers who visited New Zealand over the years was Andre The giant who had an enormous appetite and apparently King Kong The Hungarian had an even larger appetite. At 33 stones he was huge.
I seem to remember a magazine article showing Giant Haystacks sat in front of a table full of food, and it saying it is what he ate in a day. Don't know if he really ate all the food in the picture, but you don't get to that size and weight eating salad.
Hi Dave Thanks for your comments. A well known story from the 1960s Was Klondike Bill who managed to eat two 72 ounce steaks in one hour at a Texas Steak House. Apparently if you can eat one you get your meal for free. Even by American standards few achieve to get through one 72 ounce steak.
Not sure if this meets the remit but on one occasion while signing autographs Ian Campbell was doing his best to ignore a most annoying child who kept asking "Ian; how much does it cost to feed you?" Eventually Campbell responded "It costs a awful lot; and if it was broken down into pennies and ha'pennies it might all just fit into your mouth!"
