Wrestling on Christmas Day

Medieval tradition of having a wrestling tourney on Christmas Day afternoon goes back to the times immemorial. At Hornchurch, near Romford (Essex) it continued till 1868 !!! And

they didn't wrestle for the Belt or Cup, but for the Boar's Head !!!
