Mark was a very big man far heavier than Al Kenny. He was also 13 years younger. both quite short maybe 5f 2 not much more

he also boxed in Belfast and Blackfriars in London. Al Kenny was born in Salford in 1904, when he married he lived in Blackley near Heaton Park until his death in April 1981. The Manchester evening news had a tribut to him. If you find out anything about Mark Kenyon please let me know. I don't even have a photo of him. But I remember him as a child and he look like my grandfather, Mark died in 1973 i having a boxing pose of Al in his prime

Than you so much where did you find that one. I do have some very fragile boxing bills of him, but I’ve never seen his name on wrestling only that he sometimes done

LOL yes that’s my great uncle Mark. He did spend time away at her majesty’s eating porridge. Still no wiser about his wrestling though. A relative said he thought his wrestling name may of been man mountain, or mountain man but there not really sure

He was from Salford, yes my first post. I know a lot about my grandfather he was famous in the North West as a Boxer. He did do some wrestling, but boxing was him. His younger brother Mark tried to live up to his hero brother, but never made it big, I know Mark wrestled in clubs and fairgrounds in the north west but I cannot find any information on him

Hi Phil My Grand father was a professional Boxer in the 1920’s & 30’s his boxing name was Al Kenny. His name was Albert Kenyon. He had a brother Mark Kenyon who use to Wrestle but I don’t think he done it professional Beckie
