I am definitely going to look at this thank you. I remember the wrestlers were friends away from the ring or at least the ones I remember were. My father small but mighty and still is. I remember he told me he only got into the wrestling game because he made a little pocket money as a kid building the rings in widnes, he told me he needed to do something because he failed his exams for grammar school deliberately because my grandparents couldn't afford to send him because his two elders brothers were already there...not sure how he first found wrestling but I am glad he did.

Religious my dad...oh goodness no not at all, Clive found his own redemption Haha...I dont know any fireside chats..but I will be glad to share what I do remember....I need to search the memory banks a lot more...they have started churning haha .. So Clive Myers was a correct memory i am happy my brain still works , what do you know of him?

Thank you to you all for such great memories, I remember going and watching him fight and screaming 'dont hurt my dad' lol...I remember old ladies loved him...oh my goodness...they really did and he signed photos and autographs and I would be sat on his shoulders. He still has his boots, cloak and belt, he won the European something for a few years in his weight class...for a small man he hand big hands like hammers...many good memories ..thank you!

Haha...cool yes...chaotic extremely...but to be honest the people at that time were a bit suicidal Haha...I say that because I clearly remember everybody thinking they could fight him...didnt matter where we were all the men wanted to prove they were better than a professional fighter...this then turned to his children...kids thought we were equally as tough as him so they provoked us a lot to make us fight which we did...but we were armed with defences...he taught us well hahahaha!! I am a big scaredy cat really..but he knew what we were up against..it was silly, but it was cool especially when he toured old holiday camps for display bouts..they were great fun!!

Hi, He was also Mo Hunter you are correct, his actual real name is Maurice Hunt, I do remember lots of wrestlers from those days...correct me if I am wrong but one of his closest friends at the time I think was a man called Clive Myers...I remember him being a coloured man? But my memories could be muddled but i could swear he was also a wrestler? I remember all of those you mentioned above especially Kendo and Count

Yes he used Maurice Hunter, Mo and Ian when he was fighting, I remember him wrestling tag, he wrestled in charity matches with a womans stocking on his head Haha...I remember him taking it off a lady in the crowd...wow memories I have not thought of for a long time!

Yes the North, he is born and breed in Widnes a proper Lancashire boy! Ian Sr John I remember but the other name I dont recognize, thank you for replying.
