I've just got back from the Kent Reunion. As always it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Thank you Ken Sowden and everyone involved with the Reunion. Like a fine meal it takes forever to organise and no time at all to consume.
As always it was good to meet up with Johnny Kincaid, Jackie Glitterboy Evans, Blondie Barratt, Bob Kirkwood, Jackie McCann and Johnny Kidd. Also good to meet up again with Main Mask who brought a small part of his amazing collection which I didn't do justice to, and the lovely daughter of Tony Cassio.
For me though there was one highlight. No disrespect to Main Mask, Glitterboy, Johnny, Blondie or the rest. The highlight for me was meeting our very own The Ost. What a lovely fella. On holiday in Belgium he came over for the day just for the Reunion. I reckon Wayne Bridges should have given him free beer (He didn'T) And today is his birthday.
Happy birthday Ost.
Hack has obviously been practising his Brian Crabtree impression................lol
Great snap there lads!
frostini2000, why did you not make yourself known? Next year! You could have got in on this photo.
Gadzooks, who are this trio?
Main Mask, The Ost and yours truly.
A grand day out, indeed.
I was there too, but you may not have noticed me, as I was surrounded by lovely ladies. (It's something you get used to!)
However, you may have noticed my blue jacket!
Thanks for all the kind words everyone, only just got back home down under. Was great to meet Hack & Main Mask as well as all the other folks there. I did have a nice chat to Wayne & he signed some items for me. A very cool birthday.
Happy for all of you dear friends who were able to attend the reunion, I was with you in spirit. Happy birthday Mr. Ost, all the best and many happy returns, you are doing very important work of preserving wrestling titles history my friend, my appreciation.
Hank & the daughter of Tony Costas - they sound made for each other.
Happy Birthday Ost.
I am sure I will make it to a reunion one day.
