to try their chances in British Rings!-They came from pretty much the 4 corners of the
World-some became Famous and lasted for many years-Others were short-lived-didn't stay
around for very long and then just Vanished!
One Region from whence many Fighters hailed back in the '60's was NORTH AFRICA!
Coming from Lands over which just 20 years or so before ROMMEL'S PANZERS had
rumbled-these Wrestlers were generally Tough Cookies and not without Skills!
There was Heavyweight-EL SAID ARABET Who Fought in Southern Rings-also
GUECHICHI MOUSSA-a fast and rugged Welterweight-Both from (FRENCH) MOROCCO-
Another Notable Large Heavyweight who made his way here from TUNISIA was
ELI AZRIE Who Topped the Bill against TIBOR SZAKACS in JANUARY 1962 at the
CIVIC HALL WOLVERHAMPTON-getting as far as Fighting in the Midlands!
