You always knew when Alan Dennison was mad, the strap on his leotard would be taken down, to signify that the mighty atom meant business. Alan Dennison one of the all time greats sadly taken too young.
Dennison was fantastic when he lost it , that look on his face, sorry to bring in the WWE stuff but Ken Shamrock was almost a copy. Al got there first.
I'm with the consensus, Dennison was made to be a villain. That tiny atom physique made him the hard nut who couldn't be pushed around. A body created for villainy. If he had just been a clean wrestler all along we could have accepted that was how he was, but to go from that bad guy to such a squeaky clean, nauseatingly nice good guy was just too much. A talented, charismatic value for money wrestler though.
I always preferred him as a villain too, just couldn't get away with him as a babyface, would have loved him to turn again before he was so tragically taken

Great guy, great villain, the heavy wrist straps and chunky forearms made him look a real threat.

Have to be honest. Preferred him as a villian!, "Possessed By The Devil" as the strap line said. Saw him in some memorable matches with Jackie Pallo.
