The late Alan Dennison died in the dressing room for his final wrestling match at Southport,Merseyside in June 1984 at the age of 52 years of heart-attack and his great feuds against the infamous Jim Breaks on World of Sport ITV.
The Great Contest against the immortal Les Kellett at Gravesend Kent when Dennison sent to the dressing room after two public warnings by referee Joe D'Orazio and The MC Charlie Fisher in 1975 and year later in 1976 from heel to the blue eye and he kept to the rules all the time and he won the all wrestling bouts and he is kind man from villian to the clean cut strongman from Denholme Yorkshire.
The Great memories of the late Alan Dennison,The Original Strongman of Professional Wrestling ITV Sport.

Thanks Terry, it's good to know your views. Dennison was really good at playing the villain, probably nothing like he was in real life. I was saddened when he split up from Sid Cooper, but then pleasantly surprised with the way Ted Heath fitted in to the role. I thought Ted was just as good as tag partner, though in individual matches did prefer Sid to Ted. Maybe you're too young Terry but it would be interesting to hear your opinion of which was the better tag partner for Alan, or that both were equally good.
I Prefer Alan Dennison when he was real villian in the early days of wrestling and in later years when he was the real good blue eye kept to the rules and sadly when he died of heart-attack aged 52 years in the dressing room in Southport,Lancashire in the summer of 1984 for his last wrestling match.
The Great icon of British Professional Wrestling ITV Sport is the late Alan Dennison.

Terry, Alan Dennison was an out and out bad un when I started watching, a dirty wrestler as we called them in those days. Then he became a real goodie, clean wrestler. I didn't like that because it just seemed unbelievable.
Was he a dirty or clean wrestler when you watched him. Which did you prefer?
