Alan Patchett featured regularly in Ice Cream. Hot Dogs, Leg Locks and Toe Holds the wonderful Dave Sutherland series about life as a salesman at the St James Hall in Newcastle. Alan Patchett was Dave's friend and fellow salesman, featuring regularly in the stories.
Sadly Alan died on 11th September and next week we will add a tribute to Dave from his friend of seventy years, Dave Sutherland.
