More sad news tonight. Diminutive Yorkshire lightweight Allan Armstrong, who worked for the independents died in the early hours of Wednesday morning. He was 71 years old.

More sad news tonight. Diminutive Yorkshire lightweight Allan Armstrong, who worked for the independents died in the early hours of Wednesday morning. He was 71 years old.
I didn't see Alan wrestle (he was actually an Allan) but Al Marshall in the posters above tells me what a whirlwind he was, and small even for a lightweight.
It's always sad to hear that another of our wrestling community has died. Condolences to the family.
