Barrett, What Is Known About Him?

Dear Ron Historyo,

I found online this old Russian card which advertises Barrett as English champion wrestler in 1909.

I looked him up on BNA but besides him being a London policeman and him winning English Amateur heavyweight title in 1909 I didn't find anything. Do you have anything on him?

thanks for sharing, amazing story.

He was an Olympic tug-of-war champion and bronze medal winner in freestyle heavyweight wrestling. Also participated in Greco-Roman style. Twice British champion. I am truly amazed. Simply wow. He could have became top pro may be?
