Without a doubt, and I have mentioned this several times on this forum, in 1964 at Newcastle Ray Appolon and Bruno Elerington fought out a ten round 1 - 1 draw. This was Bruno pre perm and beard and he really looked the part when he got seriously angry.
there was an occassion at wembley town hall during a wednesday afternoon tea dance. gladys the impaler was have a romantic time the the ghoul. glady caught the ghoul chatting up a middle age lady.
the fight only lasted 4 minutes and gladys really did a number on the ghoul, blood every where. great pity no camcorders in those day. management had to get a cleaning crew in as there was blood on the ceiling, walls and floor
Rikki Starr vs Wild Angus at Liverpool Stadium.Angus eventually on the end of a Starr aeroplane spin and after umpteen attempts to get up ended up going over the top rope and being counted out.Great contest.
Too many good ones to remember! I think the most crazy bout was The Caribbean sunshine boys causing a near riot at Croydon one night, I can't even remember who they were fighting but even members of the audience got involved, chairs were thrown, people climbing into the ring, even the timekeepers bell was in there at one point. I was young at the time and we had ringside seats but my Dad dragged me to the back of the hall to watch from a safe distance. It was like a scene from a wild west bar brawl. I seem to remember Johnny Kincaid saying they achieved this quite a few times tin their travels
A tag match of 30 minutes duration between the Royal Brothers & The Borg Twins. Pure action and neither side scored a fall or submission. In football pools parlance a "No Score Draw!"
George Gordienko against Geoff Portz . This was absolutely brilliant with Gordienko prevailing 2-1.Then along came the Big Daddy fiasco!

I was starting to worry that we hadn't heard from you for a while MateyDave. Now we've heard from you. I'm starting to worry.

That's a tough question. I think I'll settle for Kendo v Wall, a really hard, bruising battle as you would expect.

Joe Murphy v Jackie Pallo, the bout was an eight five minute round draw.
Dave Finlay versus Chic Cullen with Cullen taking a beating
Steve Grey versus Mal Sanders, with a surfboard submission win for Grey.
ray apolon v billy robinson, followed by mr mcmanus v mr gutteridge
There are so many , but Kirk v Kendo at Bolton seems to be with me , it was that period where Kendo had come back from Canada.
The first Kendo v Crabtree bout at Winsford was exciting. They had made Shirley look so unbeatable while Kendo was in Canada.
