Was there any mention of this Silver Cup at the time Clarke beat Oakeley? Would the Yorkshire fans known or have cared. Yes I am sceptical of all this nonsense, but for good reason.Just because a cup is mentioned we shouldn't just believe it existed. Even if it did, less so that the same cup made its way to Yorkshire.

Yes, 100 pounds was alotta money in 1935...now think...how about 100 pounds at stake in 1850??? Unrealistic, right??? I agree.
