In the days before smart phones Hospital Radio was a boon.

I had never heard of wrestling shows on hospital radio before, our local Hospital radio has done the Newcastle united matches for years as I believe many other Hospital radio stations do, North Staffordshire seemed to be quite unique.

On one of the Screensport shows at Hanley, someone (Mark Rocco, IIRC) hurls their opponent into what Maxton/Vince refers to as the hospital radio commentator's table, which would fit with Ron's cutting below.
