Looking at the updated list of Fifties Greats still with us, I just can't believe how we have rather overlooked Barry Douglas.
Apart from his long and noble wrestling career facing all the big names, in the true understated style of similar greats such as Bob Kirkwood and Romany Riley, here is a man who must have been at the very heart of Joint Promotions. He probably kept his low profile due to an important office role. One of the most modest silver spoons imaginable.
Burly Barry would be able to plug so many of the gaps we still have; he must know absolutely everything!!!
Does anyone know anything about him?
This show was at Bridlington, which I would think was still run by Relwyskow in 1987.
