As Britain endures the severest weather of the winter so far the 11th December is the anniversary of the death in a car crash of Sonny Wallis, who you can read about here.
Got me thinking that with the immense amount of travelling each year, mostly in darkness in all sorts of conditions a number of wrestlers suffered fatalities on the road. With little thought ones that come immediately to mind are Danny Flynn, Alec Burton and Dennis Savage.
You're right Mad Mac, it was 1986 and he and Pete Lapaqua were returning from a show.
