GEORGE BOLLAS was a Curious Character as well as a surprisingly Good Wrestler for 24 Stone!! As the MASKED ZEBRA KID He delighted many a Crowd and was a Great Draw!-
when he came to this Country! His first Defeat and UNMASKING was in 1960 losing to
MIKE MARINO!-Then for awhile he Wrestled 'Bare-Faced' as BARTELLI called it but then
BACK ON came the MASK!-On MARCH 5TH 1961 in a MASK vs.MASK Contest BOLLAS
again lost to BARTELLI at HANLEY and following the 'Rules' for Defeated MASKED Men
he again Wrestled UNMASKED for a Spell!
But soon HOODED yet AGAIN-He Wrestled on for another Stretch before losing another
MASK vs. MASK Contest at BELLE VUE to the OUTLAW!
What's Curious though is that No-One seemed to mind him pulling back on his BLACK/
WHITE Striped MASK!!-But even more Curious is that he could never it seems completely
'disassociate' himself from this PERSONA!!-When Wrestling MASKLESS He STILL arrived
to the Ring in his ZEBRA Cape and Garb-I wonder if it draped his Coffin at the end??
