Good question. He was a good worker - and I always felt a bit sorry for him because I think many believed promoters were trying to “pass him off” as a mis-print!
Jack Taylor used him quite a bit - but the last I heard of him was a quick mention in a past forum comment ... which I’ve failed to locate! (With a name like McManus, Googling and searching for him on the net is a nightmare,of course)
I think he got in touch five or six years back. We asked for more information but didn't hear back. Here's your chance Chris McManus...
