Bill Lewis? No I've no idea who he was either. Never heard of him. Not until a week or so ago when Main Mask started this thread
Discussion surrounded this bill.
None of us had heard of any of these wrestlers. I suggested they were amateurs putting on pro style shows and SaxonWolf was gracious enough to agree.
Today Main Mask has re-posted one of his favourite Tony Cassio posters. Look who crops up wrestling none other than Dave Phillips. So Bill Lewis didn't fade into total obscurity after all. I wonder what became of him? Maybe we will find a son/daughter/grandchild out there searching for Bill Lewis wrestler.
See this gallery for many of his Acton Shows.

Since Tony Cassio was a mid-heavyweight, that tag-match would be a bit lop-sided since Peter Kelly was barely weleterweight.
But look at the very early outing for Stevie Green! Probably the first we have seen. And his bout with Dicky may qualify for the biggest age difference in a single bout ... hey, that's worth a topic of its own.
Found a Bill with Bill Lewis at Acton 1967.
There was a brief write up and it was 3 man tag. Team mates were Billy Stock and I think Bob the Bruiser might have been Bob Wade.
One other clue , In this season at Acton , on one of the bills was Kincade.
So maybe Johnny Kincade would know. (Stock was on the same bill as him that week)
What about Jackie Stewart? Must have been fast and furious.
Very Well Spotted Hawkeye!-I completely 'missed' that one altogether!!
I'll do some 'Digging' around 1967-1970 to see if I've got anything else for
HURRICANE BILL!!
