Could have become a family tradition.At least two previous monarchs were wrestlers Henry V and Henry VIII. Most famously for Henry VIII versus King Francis I of France at the Field of the Cloth of Gold in 1520

I would have liked to have seen him in action but I believe that he had a prior engagement at The Pizza Express in Woking.

By the way it was the Manchester Guardian in 1956 and printed only in Manchester. The paper was re-named The Guardian in 1959 and started a London print in 1961.
