Added to the Bartelli unmasking it would now be significant to go to this one. Sorry to put it on the Forum twice , but I would pay good money for a look at what happened.
Anything with Adrian in his hayday. The bouts were always first class, he took rule bending into another stratosphere. And the reactions were always totally phobic.......
The January 1965 match between Mike Bennett and Vento Castella. According to another website this achieved the largest non cup final day TV viewing figures recorded for Professional Wrestling
Billy Robinson versus Big Daddy...........Never happened, but would have loved to see if Big Shirley even turned up.

I’d go for the Tooting Dr Death v White Angel unmasking …. The pinnacle of a masterclass in building up tension and anticipation that Joint never really understood beyond McManus and Pallo.
Hard to pick just one, but I think it would be one the mid 70's to early 80's Rocco vs Jones matches. They were on another level to just about anything I had seen at the time.
I would have to go with your choice Romeo. Not sure which was the best of the Mick v Jackie bouts and the same applies to Robinson v Nagasaki or Rocco and Jones. If I knew the right one to go to then it might be a different story.
I thought Kendo's return to the Uk and meeting the unbeaten Guardsman Crabtree at Winsford was massive at the time and went , but maybe it sold well to me after watching all Shirley's squash matches while Kendo was in Canada. Kendo's knockout , I think in the third round , was a good match through in my eyes. I thought it was iconic at the time , but in those days I did not know Shirley's history.
Any of tommy rose's edwardian era matches
Francis Sullivan v Frikki Alberta May 1963. Just to see whether it would be as believable as it was when it shocked the TV audience back then.
WRYTON BELT FINAL, 1973.

It would have to be one of the tear ups that Marty Jones had with Mark Rocco at Newcastle City Hall.
would like to have seen George Kidd v Johnny Sain or Finlay v Rocco, just to see whether the crowd went for Rocco or Finlay
No objections to all the above, all worth 7/6. But I would like to see the Nagasaki debut against Hussey debut at Willenhall.
Bert Royal versus Jackie Pallo. The year that Pallo won the belt off Bert.

I can't argue with any of the above (well, maybe Torontos v DaSilva) so will go for Thesz v Dara Singh.
Well, I never had any hope of getting to the Albert Hall.

I would love to see for hell of it, gather it was advertised at many venues but never happened
BILL TORONTOS versus JOHN DA SILVA
Would be fun seeing if Big John could bend down enough to catch the little chap.
Jan Wilko v Paul Vachon at the RAH.

Gwyn Davies v Alan Garfield, Bradford 1965. To understand precisely why Garfield was subsequently barred from ITV.
