I thoroughly recommend a podcast from Heritage member Gary Harper.
Gary (with quite a bit of help from Ron Historyo) has been researching the life of one time pro wrestler, but far more significantly Jujitsu James Hipkiss.
It's Episode 16 on the Budoetc podcast site, also available on other podcast hosts
You can also read about Jim on Wrestling Heritage

I have yet to listen to the podcast but the Jim Hipkiss article - what a wonderful story.
It's well worth a listen Ray. I listened on Pocketcasts, but I'm sure it will be on other podcast services also, as well as the link above. Search for Budo etc.
To be honest it isn't a subject that greatly interested me, but I was enthralled and listened all the way through, it's just over an hour. What comes across is Gary's enthusiasm and curiosity - something that quite a few Heritage members will be able to associate with.
Just like wrestling they used this for entertainment in the Music Halls. So many similarities.
