Yes they are the teams involved in Big D's last match, Graham.
As we move into the 1980's, I am not sure who would have been scouting for new wrestlers (Max Crabtree probably, as he did when he found John "Mr. Muscles" England and Pat Patton), or who trained them?
If I remember correctly he tagged with Bob Brown and Syd Cooper against Big Daddy, Tom Thumb and Kashmir Singh.
We chatted on the telephone. He wanted to work a chain match for me with Keith Myatt at about the time I stopped promoting in '87 so it never happened. To me a chain match was the sort of match Eddie Rose and Ian Wilson used to do for me with one move leading seamlessly to a counter move. John's idea of a chain match seemed to actually involve himself and Myatt being physically chained together and cutting each other!
And the story I related was back in 1987!
I enjoyed your comment about the chain match Graham. We are the same age. Both getting old.

Hi SaxonWolf,
Thanks.
I will look out for that tag match when next on utube.
Steve.
He was in a triple tag against Big Daddy, in Big D's last televised match.
I don't know much about him, apart from seeing him on TV.
Cannot remember who he worked for.
Have only seen him on one occasion when wrestling at the Blackpool Sandcastle in a trophy team match sometime in the 1980's.
Did he work for LDN
