I can't find any record of Douglas Clark v Pojello and there is no mention of a match in Clark's autobiography.
There is an unconfirmed report of Pojello losing to Tiger Daula at Belle Vue on 19th March, 1937, unable to continue in the 77th Minute.
There is documented evidence, a newspaper report, of Daula's brother, Fazal Mohamed beating Pojello on a disqualification at Nottingham on 5th July, 1937.
Another unconfirmed loss, against Dave Armstrong at Newcastle on 20th November, 1937.
Ron, did Pojello wrestle D. Clark? I know they tried to organize that match (saw eternal talks in press about it), not sure it ever happened though. Pojello and Clark represented rival rasslin teams Clark Relws champ and Pojello Oakleleys.
77th minute is a phenomally long match

Also a match between Bert Assirati and Karl Pojello would have been a great match up.
