Here's a name that cropped up in the Fleetwood thread and created some interest. We will add Lee to the A-Z soon, but before we do so, are there any questions you would like to ask him?
Lee says that promoting didn't have any big problems. Wrestlers were contacted by phone. He made arrangements with the hall, which was local, and went to the printers once a week for the promotional work.
Lee doesn't know the promoters at Kirkland, Lancaster or Morecambe but he wasn't involved. He only promoted in Fleetwood and Blackpool Pontins. He seems in good health and still fishing.
Yes he'd like to come to the Reunion.
I didn't forget your question SaxonWolf, but didn't get an answer.
Lee Scott was the promoter here, as well as a Wrestler, have I got that correct?
If so, it would be interesting to know what was the toughest part of promoting?, I guess venues were easy to come by, was it getting the wrestlers all lined up? (in those pre-internet, pre-email, pre-mobile phone days).
Enjoyed that a lot. Fleetwood was a real hidden pocket of a territory and even had it's own local wrestlers.. Amazing.
A wonderful tribute to Lee. Well Done!
Yep. Thanks Phil. Triple Promotions remain a mystery. Harry must have been involved. But who else if not George Wright (Lee)
Hi Hack,
Just read the tribute to Lee Scott, very interesting and valuable reading. Thanks for the GHJ answer.
Cheers
The Lee Scott tribute has now launched, with an answer to Phil's GHJ query.
Thanks!
We now have an answer for SaxonWolf.

Would be great meeting up with Lee again after so many years.
I do hope that this Corona Virus will not affect the Reunion!
Following up.
Lee Scott tribute will be added his weekend.

Hi Hack,
Please ask Lee if he will think about coming to the Blackpool reunion next year?
Cheers
I don't think so Saxo, but will ask. He did promote so the questions are relevant.
