WIMBLEDON PALAIS being Featured in the Latest Newsletter!!
Another such Favourite Arena was LEYTON SUPER BATHS where in the '60's
TOM CHARLES put on some Great Shows here and lots of Top Wrestlers had Bouts
at THE BATHS including the Notorious DOCTOR DEATH!
Did Anyone see a Show at LEYTON? Does Anyone have Memories of Wrestling Shows

Looks like the Leyton bills were put together without expensive talent. Gives us an inkling that DM charged the local promoter heavily?
So De Marto decided his cover page photos didn't need identifying captions.
Id love to know more about this.. Im trying to research about my granddad who used to wrestle here.. not 100% sure on exact dates, 1950's/60's id imagine, he wrestled with the name ' Gregoire Aslan ' & his nephew Jackie “Kid” Woolf ( again not 100% on spelling ) I dont suppose anyone knows anything about this / where to have a look all the best
DeMarto was the name I associated with Leyton Baths. What do we know about Tom Charles? Similar layout to De Marto above. In 1966 now using Joint Promotion wrestlers, many of them just come across with the Paul Lincoln merger.
Leyton Baths was a well known boxing venue in the 50's but I don't remember wrestling there and used to travel to Walthamstow for that. I moved from Leyton in September 1958 and the wrestling probably started shortly after.
