Only a week to go until the launch of London's Loveable Villain - The True Story of Cocky Chick Knight.
True and incredible because this man led quite a life.
Like Chick, this book is a heavyweight - 236 pages, 28 pages of images (many from the family archive) all on gloss finish, with the text pages on a nice, good quality paper stock. London’s Loveable Villain will be available both as a paperback, and also as a Kindle version too.
£12.00 plus £3.78 p&p for the paperback
£6.00 for the Kindle version.

Latest news from Andy Scott
Just a quick update ahead of Friday’s plaque installation at Hammersmith, Thames Path.
Tomorrow morning (Tuesday) I am being interviewed around 8.30am on BBC Radio London and then from 11am I will be taking a BBC London News crew around Chick’s old haunts for a news piece for Friday, which will be on BBC London News on TV. They will also be coming along to film the plaque installation on Friday too.
On Saturday 4th September at 3pm, day after plaque installation, I am doing an author event at Riverside Studios in the River Room in a free to register event.
Just wanted to let you all know.

In today's Daily Express
Without disparaging Cocky Knight in any way he was not the only one who would stand up to Bert. Charlie Scott wrestled Assirati nine times in November to Christmas Eve in 1950 - three in November and the rest in December.
Andy has said sales are going really well and copies have been sold worldwide, infact he has just ordered more copies so I am pleased, as we all are, that it is doing so well after all the hard work he put in.
My copy arrived today too. Have only just started reading but already impressed by the professionalism, presentation and attention to detail. Andy has thoroughly researched his subject. As he is an established author I was expecting a book of a very high standard, and I'm not disappointed.
Received my copy of this today and have spent the afternoon reading it, already a fascinating read and I have learnt a number of things I didnt know which is always good.
I particularly like the fact that Andy has split Chicks life story with his wrestling results in the second half of the book.
I was firstly interested to see that Chick did an awful lot of traveling and regularly went as far North as Dundee right down to Redruth and secondly I didnt think anyone would have wrestled Bert Assirati so many times when it is widely known that it was difficult to get opponents for him, certainly well into double figures. Chick wrestled many of the top names from that era and there are some great stories of things that happened including an altercation with Jack Pye which I had not heard about before.
So far I am very impressed with the book and commend Andy on a job well done. With 35 copies sold in 2 days he is on to a winner. If you want a copy and I would recommend it, you can get from ebay where the link is on the homepage where Hack has put it.
