MAIN MASK
That's a well made observation from Anglo Italian about Kendo never topping the bill. Main Masks theory for this seems pretty credible to me. I'm not convinced about the Lincoln legacy. For one thing I'm not sure if Lincoln played an active part in the management of Paul Lincoln Promotions following the merger. It's more likely Kendo didn't get the billing for Main Mask's reasoning and The Outlaw did because he was a trusted player for Dale Martins.
Adding a bit more to the melting pot I believe another reasoning for Nagasaki's support billing is that at that time he was not seen as a long term masked man. There were members of Joint Promotions who saw him in the short term until after the 1971 Howes tv match.
