RIP Mighty John Quinn
Sad news.RIP John.
You could see from John's demeanour that her wanted to put on a show and he relished being a bad guy. With John Quinn on the bill, you were guaranteed emotion by the bucket load, regardless of opponent.
Very sad day for the wrestling world.
R.I.P. John
Thanks for shaking it up over here, Mighty John. God speed.
John Quinn did so much to re-kindle interest in an ailing British wrestling business. I didn't see him live but I don't think I've ever read a negative comment about his work.
A Tribute to John Quinn
R I P John. You brought something new to wrestling .
The first wrestler for me where his music actually contributed in a realistic way to his performance.
I had seen him in The Wrestler in 1971 and never dreamt he would be in the UK in the same decade.
You can see from his work that he absolutely relished portraying the charcter he skilfully developed in the UK.
Clearly a great wrestling brain.
RIP
A big man with great ring presence and ring craft, R. I. P. John
I never saw him wrestle live but his ringmanship shone through on his televised appearances. R.I.P Mighty John Quinn
